Your One Stop Shop to Talk Health Data Innovation
Hold tight, this is gonna be a great ride! Everything is in place for the Health Datapalooza (May 8-11, Grand Hyatt, Washington, DC). Kavita Patel and Niall Brennan, co-chairs, and the Academy Health team have been working tirelessly to bring you another fantastic year of health data innovation! The Datapalooza will challenge your thinking in a variety of interesting domains. Cutting edge panels will leave your mind blown, but why let the fun end there? A whole gang of those innovative thinkers are appearing in the exhibit hall at the HHS IDEA Lab booth (Booth #1) throughout the show.
I could try to tell you all about the innovators, but I couldn’t do their work justice. You just have to come to the booth to meet ‘em! If you’re not sure what to expect, here are a few questions that will be answered by the innovators you’ll meet:
What does health data look like on FHIR?
Will Open Science be the next huge wave of open data?
We collect volumes of data about our health in life, how valuable is death data?
Wondering if you’ve got what it takes to be an HHS Entrepreneur in Residence?
We have special guest appearances in booth #1 too. Chat with some of the leadership influencing the direction of health care in the U.S. including:
First Row: Susannah Fox, HHS Chief Technology Officer, and Steve Krein, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of StartUp Health
Second Row: Todd Park, Former White House Chief Technology Officer (left), and Bob Kocher, Former Presidential Advisor and partner at Venrock (right)
Third Row: Josh Rosenthal, Chief Science Officer and Co-founder of Rowdmap
If you wanna learn more about the trajectory of data innovation, health policy, and technology for your startup and entrepreneurial aspirations, go to the exhibit hall and chat with us!
