Diagnosis is the key to effective outcomes. The deeper the level of understanding, the more specific the diagnosis is. The more specific the diagnosis is, the better the outcome is likely to be. A recently released set of data included the top 100 diagnoses from hospitals (and their costs) by hospitals.

Is there a data set of all diagnoses? This would inform us where we are not looking with enough resolution to get effective outcomes.

Hello,

I am a Statistician and I am passionate about building models which is trained by the data. In brief I explore different data mining techniques which can model the outcome with a given set of predictors. I have an idea of combining bootstrap of existing healthcare data and applying a Random Forest Algorithm to the bootstrapped data hence finding interesting patterns of the predictors which can be otherwise masked by their competitive counterparts.

Create a general mainstream website or app that generates a free gov't id number for patients - where health care professionals can input top 4 areas (Example: if patient is overweight, is boarder line diabetic, has high cholesterol, or has low iron) use information such as age, height, location, history, ethnic background, sex, physical activity, medicine, etc... and it compares to where they should be - making it easy for the patients to understand - for example: with pictures, graphs, and tip on how to improve or maintain their health status.

My idea is to enable all self-propelled cardio gym equipment with an energy generator and to measure every workout in terms of the energy created by the user. Workouts may have the user identified if the user chose to identify themselves but at the very least workouts will have information about the duration, watt-hours created, location of the gym equipment, and time of the workout.
